Recommendations for a low-key photoshoot in Dubai?

Hey everyone! I’m heading to Dubai next month for a milestone anniversary, and I’m debating whether it’s worth hiring someone to take some photos of us. I usually just rely on my iPhone, but since it’s a special trip, I’m thinking about a proper session near the Burj Al Arab or maybe in the desert at sunset.

Does anyone have experience with local freelancers who aren't super stiff or "posey"? I’m a bit worried about it feeling like a staged commercial—I just want someone who can capture the vibe of the city and some nice moments of us without it being a whole production. Any tips on who to talk to or specific spots that aren't too crowded?

I had the exact same dilemma when my sister came to visit last year. We wanted some high-quality shots at the beach resorts and around the Marina but didn't want a massive crew following us around. Honestly, if you want that "authentic" feel without the awkward posing, you should see if the guys from Dubai photographer https://dubaicontent.pro/ are available.

They are a pretty chill team and they focus more on the "story" and the lighting of the city rather than just making you stand in one spot. We did a sunset session and it felt more like hanging out with a creative friend who happened to have a professional camera. Definitely better than the typical "look at the camera and smile" stuff you see everywhere. Just send them a message and see if their style matches what you’re looking for!
